THE BRIEF

The Jennings family wanted a kitchen that felt elegant, inviting and built to last. A key objective was to create a space that balanced traditional styling with contemporary convenience, ensuring the kitchen would remain both functional and visually appealing for years to come.The design needed to maximise the available space while providing ample storage, generous preparation areas and a layout that would support both day-to-day living and entertaining guests.From the outset, attention was focused on selecting high-quality materials and finishes that would complement the character of the property while creating a bright and welcoming environment.

THE DESIGN

At the centre of the project is the Shaldon painted shaker kitchen, a beautifully crafted real timber range that brings warmth, texture and timeless appeal to the space.The painted timber doors showcase the natural quality of the cabinetry, while the matching porcelain carcases create a cohesive and refined appearance throughout. Dark brushed brass knobs were selected to introduce a touch of contrast and sophistication, adding subtle detail that enhances the traditional shaker styling.Complementing the cabinetry are 30mm Unistone Cendre polished quartz worktops. Their elegant surface provides both visual impact and exceptional durability, creating practical workspaces that are perfectly suited to the demands of modern family life.The combination of painted timber cabinetry, polished quartz surfaces and rich brass detailing results in a kitchen that feels both classic and contemporary, offering a timeless aesthetic that will endure for many years to come

THOUGHTFUL FUNCTIONALITY

While aesthetics played an important role in the design, practicality remained at the forefront of the project.Premium Neff appliances were seamlessly integrated throughout the kitchen, delivering reliable performance and modern convenience while maintaining the clean and elegant appearance of the cabinetry.A Franke sink and tap were selected to complement the overall design, providing durability and functionality within one of the most frequently used areas of the kitchen.To complete the space, Karndean flooring was installed throughout, bringing warmth, durability and continuity to the room while enhancing the overall sense of quality and craftsmanship.Every element was carefully considered to ensure the kitchen not only looks beautiful but functions effortlessly for everyday use.
