THE BRIEF

The Masters were looking for a kitchen that balanced style with practicality. They wanted a design that would maximise the available space, provide excellent functionality and create a welcoming environment for socialising and entertaining.In addition to creating a stylish and practical kitchen, the Masters were particularly keen to keep smaller appliances neatly hidden from view when not in use. Maintaining clean, uncluttered work surfaces was an important part of achieving the contemporary aesthetic they envisioned. To address this, the design incorporated a tambour corner dresser, providing a discreet and easily accessible storage solution for everyday appliances. This clever feature allows frequently used items to remain close at hand while preserving the streamlined appearance of the kitchen.From the earliest planning stages, the focus was on creating a kitchen tailored to the way they live, with thoughtful design solutions and high-quality materials that would stand the test of time.Working collaboratively throughout the design process, we developed a scheme that embraced contemporary aesthetics while ensuring every aspect of the kitchen remained highly practical and easy to use.

THE DESIGN

At the heart of the project is the Manston Fjord Slab kitchen, a beautifully understated contemporary range characterised by its clean lines and minimalist appearance.The soft Fjord finish creates a calm and sophisticated palette, while the matching Fjord carcase delivers a seamless, cohesive look throughout the cabinetry. The handleless-inspired styling is enhanced by brushed nickel Slim Bar handles, introducing subtle contrast and refined detailing without detracting from the simplicity of the design.To complement the cabinetry, the kitchen features 20mm Snowflake Mirrorlux quartz worktops. The bright, reflective surface helps maximise light throughout the room, creating an open and airy feel while providing a highly durable workspace for everyday cooking and entertaining.The combination of soft-toned cabinetry and elegant quartz surfaces results in a kitchen that feels contemporary yet welcoming—perfectly suited to modern family life.

THOUGHTFUL FUNCTIONALITY

While the visual impact of the kitchen is striking, functionality remained central to the design.Premium Neff appliances were seamlessly integrated throughout the space, providing exceptional cooking performance while maintaining the clean, uninterrupted appearance of the cabinetry.A Franke sink and tap were selected to complement the contemporary aesthetic, delivering both practicality and durability within one of the kitchen's most frequently used areas.Every detail was carefully considered to ensure the kitchen not only looks beautiful but works effortlessly day after day.

CRAFTSMANSHIP AND INSTALLATION

A successful kitchen project relies on more than great design alone.From initial planning through to installation, the project benefited from a coordinated approach and a commitment to quality at every stage. Careful attention to detail ensured that each element was installed to the highest standard, with no compromises made throughout the process.The result is a kitchen that feels expertly crafted and beautifully finished, reflecting the quality of both the materials and workmanship involved.

THE RESULT

The completed kitchen has transformed the way Mr & Mrs Masters use their home.The clean lines of the Manston Fjord cabinetry, combined with the brightness of the Snowflake Mirrorlux quartz and the warmth of the brushed nickel detailing, create a space that is both elegant and inviting.Designed with everyday practicality in mind yet perfectly suited to entertaining, the kitchen has become a space the family are proud to share with others.As Mr & Mrs Masters commented after completion:"The fit out result is impressive.
