THE BRIEF

The Tozers wanted a kitchen that felt warm, inviting and effortlessly practical. Their vision centred on a classic shaker design with natural textures and high-quality materials, creating a space that would remain stylish and functional for years to come.Equally important was the experience of the project itself. They wanted to work with a team that would listen carefully to their ideas, guide them through the design process and ensure every detail was considered from start to finish.Through a collaborative design journey, we developed a kitchen that balances elegant aesthetics with the practical demands of modern living.

THE DESIGN

At the heart of the project is the Holne Cashmere Shaker kitchen, chosen for its timeless appeal and understated elegance. The soft Cashmere finish creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere, while the classic shaker styling provides a design that feels both traditional and contemporary.The cabinetry is complemented by a Lancaster Oak carcase, bringing warmth and quality to every element of the kitchen. The natural oak interior detailing reflects the craftsmanship that sits behind the visible design, ensuring the kitchen is as beautifully constructed as it is visually appealing.For the work surfaces, Mr & Mrs Tozer selected 20mm Forest Sughero Quartz. Rich in character and texture, the quartz introduces depth and sophistication while offering the durability required for everyday family life.A striking 40mm solid oak breakfast bar adds another layer of natural warmth to the space. Designed as both a practical workspace and a social hub, it provides the perfect place for casual dining, morning coffee or gathering with family and friends.

THOUGHTFUL DETAILS

As with every bespoke kitchen project, it is often the smaller details that make the biggest difference.Premium Neff appliances were carefully integrated throughout the design, delivering reliable performance while maintaining the clean, streamlined appearance of the cabinetry.A Franke sink and tap were selected to complement the overall scheme, combining practicality with elegant design and creating a hardworking preparation area that sits comfortably within the wider aesthetic.Every element was chosen to work together seamlessly, creating a kitchen that feels cohesive, balanced and purposefully designed.

THE RESULT

The finished kitchen successfully combines timeless shaker styling with contemporary functionality.Soft Cashmere cabinetry, natural oak accents and the distinctive Forest Sughero quartz worktops create a welcoming environment that feels both sophisticated and relaxed. The oak breakfast bar introduces a natural focal point, encouraging the kitchen to become a place not only for cooking, but for spending time together.Throughout the project, close communication and attention to detail ensured that the homeowners remained involved and informed at every stage, resulting in a kitchen that fully reflects their vision.The success of the project is perhaps best reflected by the fact that, following completion, Mr & Mrs Tozer entrusted us with the renovation of their adjoining porch—an endorsement that speaks volumes about their experience.As they commented after completion:"From the very start of the design process to the finishing touches and post-finish follow-up, both the service and product have been top class.
